“ Though we went to Edison, like, N no of times but never tried this one. It is not far from those famous restaurants. In fact, if you are here for jewelry shopping, then this is very near to those famous jewelry shops (Tanishq-Malabar-Kalyan), Plus point is the municipality parking is very nearby with their own parking. Coming to the restaurant - it's huge, and the ambience is really good; they can definitely accommodate large groups. It was a weekday evening, and when we entered, only one table was occupied, so it had a very deserted look. We settled down and ordered- * Manchow Soup - it was good. 5/5 * Chicken Dum Biryani: I'm not sure why I order biryani from 'not so famous' biryani places; I might be hoping for a surprise taste - it literally failed, and they should rename it as Chicken pulav. Also, too oily.. 1/5 * Goat Sukka: should have been spicier, more flavorful. 3/5 Overall, the satisfaction level was not that high.. nothing unique, and whatever the hype about the new young chef, I did not find that interesting. 3.5/5 for me, but I am rating it as 4 just to help them grow their business. ”

“ I really wanted to give 5 Stars because the food was awesome, but few minor things bugged me, so going with 4. Positives are the Taste and Quantity of the Food and Drinks offered. Everything was delicious and the price too seems reasonable. Service was quick (medium crowd when we visited) and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The have plenty of Cocktails and Mocktails options to choose from, along with a decent Beer and Wine selection. I only tried the Mango Mule and it was yummy. Indian Restaurants with Bar options are few, so I would definitely recommend. Reason for 4 Stars is this. I have been waiting to visit this restaurant for almost 3 years now, ever since I read an article about the young Indian-American kid who is Executive Chef, and it was billed as a Indian Fusion restaurant with a modern twist. While the food tasted really good, I wouldn't really call them Fusion or anything with a twist. 95% of the Food Menu is just regular Indian Recipes, so nothing to be excited about. I wish there was at least few more items that offered a different culinary experience. Atmosphere too somehow didn't hit the right note. Decor did look great for the most part. It felt under lit but not in a romantic way, more like depressing way. Maybe I am being too picky, but there are so many new Indian Restaurants popping up in NJ/NY with different themes, interesting decor, unique menu, etc., and in comparison to those Clove 12 falls short. ”

“ Delicious food, nice restaurant and good service. It was a bit empty unfortunately but maybe people don't know it's there. Not sure. It's a very big place, they put a lot of work into the decor and there's plenty of parking. They also sell alcohol. Many Indian food restaurants don't do that. I hope next time we go it'll be packed. ”

“ Long time Jersey girl, this gem in Edison is worth going to! Finally a place that has a bar, ambiance, and vibe that you can hit up after shopping. We loved all the dishes, notably the vegetarian egg rolls, paneer and chicken tikka masala, chaats, and cocktails! Service was attentive. Definitely would come back . ”

“ We went in for a quick buffet and were pleased! The wait staff was very pleasant. They were attentive and were quick to clear used plates. The restaurant itself and the restroom were clean. Most importantly, a good variety of food including gol gappa/pani puri! Can get more dessert options but over all great food for $25 per person. Would come back to try dinner/drinks. ”

“ The first thing you notice when walking into this restaurant is that it has an elegant yet fun atmosphere. The wall art and table arrangements are beautiful. The colors of the restaurant are vibrant. The music sets an upbeat mood. The service was pretty fast and everyone who approached the table had good etiquette. The food was absolutely delicious. The goat curry and gobi Manchurian was very flavorful and packed good spice. The bread assortment we ordered was also delicious. Would recommend trying the bullet naan. The only reason for the 4 star review was the cocktails looked elegant in presentation but were too strong-- the alcohol overpowered the other flavors. Otherwise everything was good. I would definitely come here again. ”
